Why are our Organic Sweets & Snacks Costlier?

Our organic sweets & snacks are more expensive because they are crafted using premium organic and non-genetically-modified (Non-GMO) ingredients. Organic farming does not use chemical fertilizers and pesticides, leading to yields as low as 18% to 25%, and higher costs for manual weeding and quality control.

Premium organic ingredients: We use high-quality organic ingredients which are 5-8 times more expensive than the conventional ones. 

For example, we use premium and whole organic cashews in our Organic Kaju Katlis which are 6-8 times more expensive than the ones used by major brands and local stores. Other brands and local stores make Kaju Katlis by using cut-piece cashews which are bleached with chemical whiteners to make them white and mixing them with low-quality milk solids and other cheaper substitutes such as maltodextrin.

We use 100% organic cow ghee, which costs 5-6 times more than the conventional ones, in making all our organic laddus. The majority of major brands and stores use palmolein oil and other hydrogenated oils which oxidize fast. 

We use organic saffron in our laddus, while all other manufacturers use a plethora of chemical colours and flavors.

No preservatives, no chemicals, no fillers, no additives: Unlike major brands, we don't use maltitol, maltodextrin, liquid glucose. 

Lowest sugar content: Our sweets contain at least 30% less sugar than those from major brands, providing a healthier and more wholesome choice for our customers. Our Organic Kaju Katli contains an impressive 67% organic cashews, compared to approximately 52% in leading brands.

Fast and fresh shipping: We air-ship our products from India to the USA, ensuring delivery within 3 days, which is 5 to 6 times more expensive than ocean shipping. We then use fast priority mail for customer deliveries. This way, our products always reach customers at their freshest.

Other manufacturers ship their products from India to the USA via ocean freight, which takes 6 to 8 weeks to reach their local warehouses. By the time these products arrive at stores in the USA, they are at least 6 to 8 weeks old. 

Healthier and eco-friendly packaging: Our products never come into contact with plastic. In contrast, most other manufacturers package their products in plastic containers, which have a high potential to contaminate the contents with Bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical linked to health risks including hormone disruption and developmental issues.
